“Pieces of Me"
NCI ARTworks will host the opening reception for Suzanne Shafer-Wilson of Lostant, primarily known for her copper work on Friday August 12th, 2022 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Westclox building and gallery space.
Shafer-Wilson has a passion for mixed media and the fine arts, with an emphasis on woven copper vessels. In addition, she is well versed in drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture. Shafer-Wilson’s show titled “Pieces of Me,” will display numerous examples of her transition of these and other mediums over the last 30 years.

Most recently, Shafer-Wilson was part of a group show titled “Urban Garden,” where her work was on display at Vale Craft Gallery in Chicago (www.valecraftgallery.com). Her work appeared at several shows at WomanMade Gallery in Chicago, https://womanmade.org/artwork/suzanne-shafer-wilson and also appeared on the cover of The Crafts Report, a nationally syndicated crafts business magazine.
An opening reception for Shafer-Wilson will be held at the NCI Artworks Gallery in the historic Westclox Building (400 5th Street, Peru, IL), from 6:30-8:30 on Friday, August 12. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.
