Town & Country Youth art show 2023
PROVIDING AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG ARTISTS TO GAIN EXPERIENCE Exhibiting THEIR ART IN PUBLIC
To participate in the art show, follow these three important steps:
Step one: If your school and/or students are interested in participating, please email ytcartshow2022@gmail.com by March 18, 2023 and let us know you’re in! This also gives us a good idea of any department changes, name changes, and email updates that we may need to make on our end for future correspondence.
Step two: Students and/or their teachers can enter artwork directly using the Google Form accessible HERE or below. The form and an image (jpeg or pdf format) of the artwork will both need to be submitted to be considered a qualified entry. All entries will need to be submitted by April 1, 2023.
Step three: After NCI ARTworks receives all the entries by April 1, we will create a name tag template to identify each piece. The tags will be emailed as a Google Doc to the provided email from step 1. The email will include the number of tags needing to be printed along with directions on tag placement. 2D and 3D work. 2D Artwork must be matted or mounted; no framing.

The official show opening will be 12:00 pm with the announcing of Division Winners, along with the Best of Show Award. From 12:00- 2:00 the show will be open for public viewing. All entries will receive a certificate of recognition. A Blue, Red, White, or Green ribbon will be given to the artwork meeting judging qualifications. Best of Show Ribbons will be awarded to each division (grades 5-8 & 9-12) in 2D and 3D. In addition, the Best of Show Ribbon recipients will be awarded $50. A list of all winners will be emailed to participating schools. All blue ribbon winners are eligible to enter the state Town and Country Art competition in Champaign in the fall. Teachers will receive that information and are responsible for entering artwork at their discretion. Details will follow after the April show.
